Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do the flameless floating LED tealights turn on and off?

A: These tealights are water-activated — they use a water-sensor mechanism that automatically switches the LED on when the bottom contacts water, and switches it off when removed. No buttons or switches are required. Just ensure the base is tightly secured before placing in water.

Q: Are the batteries included, and how long do they last?

A: Yes! Each tealight comes with a CR2032 button cell battery pre-installed and ready to use. With a fresh battery, each tealight provides up to 100 hours of flickering LED light. Replacement CR2032 batteries are inexpensive and widely available in stores and online.

Q: Are these tealights safe to use in a swimming pool or outdoor fountain?

A: Yes — these floating tealights are fully waterproof and designed specifically for use in water, including pools, outdoor bowls, fountains, and vases. Always ensure the sealed bottom cap is fully tightened before placing them in water for optimal waterproof performance.
