Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What size rodents can this humane mouse trap catch?

A: This live catch cage trap measures 11 x 5.5 x 4.3 inches, making it ideal for capturing mice, small rats, and similarly sized small rodents. Its compact dimensions allow it to fit in tight spaces where rodents commonly travel.

Q: What bait works best in a live catch mouse trap cage?

A: Highly effective baits for a live mouse trap include peanut butter, small pieces of cheese, chocolate, or seeds. Place the bait at the far end of the cage near the trigger plate to encourage the rodent to fully enter before the doors close.

Q: Is this reusable mouse trap safe to use around children and pets?

A: Yes. Because this is a humane, no-kill cage trap with no snap mechanisms and no chemicals, it is much safer to use in households with children (recommended ages 12+) and pets compared to traditional snap traps or poison-based solutions. Always check the trap regularly to minimize stress on any captured animals.

Q: How do I clean and maintain the iron mouse trap cage after use?

A: After each use, rinse the iron cage with warm water and mild soap. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust. The durable iron construction is designed to withstand repeated cleaning and resetting, giving you long-lasting, reusable performance.
