A: This tester is designed for 18650 flat-top lithium batteries. It is compatible with any battery that has a discharge cutoff voltage between 2.5V and 3.5V and a charge start voltage between 2.8V and 4.2V. Note: lithium iron (LiFePO4) batteries are not supported for charging.
Q: Can I run multiple charge-discharge cycles automatically?
A: Yes! In automatic mode, the tester supports 1 to 9 adjustable charge-discharge cycles. It will complete the full sequence and display a "completed" status at the end — ideal for thorough battery capacity verification.
Q: Does the tester need batteries to operate, or can it run from a USB-C power source?
A: It can be powered either by a DC 5V supply via the Type-C (USB-C) port, or by two 18650 batteries installed in the left battery slot. Batteries and USB-C cable are not included in the package.
Q: Will my settings be saved if the power is cut?
A: Yes — the tester saves your configured parameters (such as cutoff voltage and cycle count) after power is disconnected. However, in-progress measurement data is not retained after a power cut.
